I read today that the bank of england has indicated that interest rates will have to reach 6% if they are to keep control on inflation over the next 2 years.

Luckily I don’t have a mortgage to worry about but I wouldn’t like to be one of the many coming of fixed rate mortgages as the  jump could be huge!

Hi Everyone,

Doubt anyone will read this but here it goes:

As I’m looking for a house I was very interested to know that the average house price rose only 0.1% over this month.

The interest  rates hikes over the past 5 years finally seem to have stopped the rise and the BoE look set to hold rates. House price increases in London slowed from 0.7% in June to 0.2% this month.

Maybe there is hope for me to get a house yet!
